How many hours do I have to commit?
None fixed. You choose which paid tasks to take. Most Crew Leads spend a few hours a week, more around fairs.
How and when do I get paid?
Once a month by bank transfer. Event and content fees are paid for the tasks you completed. Commission is counted 30 days after a student subscribes, once the refund window has passed.
I'm an international student. Can I join?
Yes. How you earn depends on your visa. We check this with you when you join, using a free GOV.UK share code, and set up your earnings so they stay within your visa conditions.
Do I need lots of followers?
No. We care far more about the societies, course groups and people you already know on campus.
How long does the role last?
One term at a time. At the end of each term Hamid reviews how it went with you, and strong Crew Leads are invited back.
Is the reference letter real?
Yes. You get one letter, signed by both founders, when you finish on the Crew in good standing after at least one full term. It describes what you actually did and achieved.
What do my friends get from my code?
7 days of GoRizzume Premium free: the CV builder, ATS scanner, interview coach and the live visa-sponsor register.
Can I leave if it's not for me?
Yes, any time with 7 days’ notice. Anything you have earned is still paid.
