Why do so many schemes say "no published deadline"?

Because the employer genuinely does not publish one. Roughly half of the schemes we track say nothing usable about their own application window, and many recruit on a rolling basis and close when the places are filled. We would rather tell you that plainly than print a date the employer never set.

Why do other sites show deadlines that you do not?

A date listed elsewhere often belongs to a different thing: a summer internship, a spring week, a vacation scheme, or the previous year’s intake. Large employers run several of these at once with separate windows, and law firms recruit two to three years ahead, so the same firm can have four live deadlines for four different programmes. We only publish a date when the employer’s own site states it for this graduate cycle, which means our list is shorter and every entry carries the quote it came from.

What tests do graduate schemes use?

Do I need a 2:1 for a graduate scheme?

Less often than the folklore suggests. Plenty of large schemes ask for a 2:2 or set no classification at all, including Lidl, BDO, Network Rail, Jaguar Land Rover and much of the Civil Service Fast Stream. Others are firm about a 2:1. Each scheme page records what the employer actually states.
