GoRizzume vs Resume Wordedwhich is right for UK graduates in 2026?
Resume Worded is a US resume-scoring tool with a substantial free tier: a 0 to 100 grade with your top issues, re-scorable as you edit, without paying. It also offers a dedicated LinkedIn profile review. As a free check on your CV's writing quality, it is a reasonable place to start.
The differences show up when you move from scoring to actually running a UK graduate job hunt. Resume Worded scores documents; it has no job search, no tracker, no interview practice, prices in USD, and follows US resume conventions. Here is where each tool earns its place.
What Resume Worded does well
- Generous free tier: a real score, top-issues feedback, and unlimited re-scoring without paying
- Feedback covers writing craft beyond keywords: quantified impact, weak verbs, growth signals
- Dedicated LinkedIn profile review with section-by-section feedback

Frequently asked questions
Is Resume Worded actually free?
The score is. The free tier gives you a 0 to 100 resume grade, your top issues, and unlimited re-scoring. The fixes are where it charges: line-by-line feedback, AI rewrites and the full LinkedIn and targeted-resume reports need Pro, at $49/month or $229/year.
Does Resume Worded work for UK CVs?
Partially. It scores English-language documents and much of its writing advice (quantify your impact, cut weak verbs) is universal. But its conventions are American: resume terminology, US formats. It has no UK CV mode, no UK job boards and no awareness of UK grad-scheme timelines or visa sponsorship.
What does GoRizzume include that Resume Worded lacks?
A job search with UK boards, an application tracker, chat and voice interview practice, a UK-format CV builder, and a Home Office visa-sponsor directory. Resume Worded offers none of those; it counters with a stronger free score and its dedicated LinkedIn review. GoRizzume Pro is £14.99/month; their Pro is $49/month.
Which has the better LinkedIn tool?
They solve different problems. Resume Worded offers a dedicated audit of an existing profile, with the full report on Pro. GoRizzume's LinkedIn Optimiser focuses on rewriting your headline, About and Experience sections in the language UK recruiters search, and is included on every paid tier.
