Step 3: Video Interview
Recorded video interview
Recorded video interview assessing communication, knowledge of the chosen business stream and values fit. Built-in practice question and playback check before the real, timed questions.
“If successful, you’ll move on to the video interview, where you’ll be assessed on your communication skills, awareness of the business stream you applied to, and how you align with BDO’s values. [...] Once you log into the interview platform, you’ll be guided through a short practice stage”
Step 4: Assessment Centre and Interview
Assessment centre
Virtual assessment centre: a case study presentation of analysis and recommendations, then a group exercise on a business problem.
“For graduates and school leavers, the assessment centre consists of two parts. The first part is the case study presentation, where you’ll analyse information and present your recommendations to assessors. The second part is the group exercise”
Face-to-face interview
Final interview
Final in-person interview at the applied-for office on motivations, strengths and experiences.

Visa sponsorship
Graduate Programme
BDO cites the salary threshold for a blanket no on its graduate programme, and separately bars Graduate-visa holders from applying at all

School Leaver Apprenticeship
BDO cannot sponsor a visa for any of its early careers programmes because the salary is below the Home Office threshold.

Industrial Placement Programme
BDO UK says its early careers programmes do not meet the Home Office minimum salary for sponsorship.

Summer Internship Programme
Six week paid summer internship programme open to penultimate year students.

BDO UK's only first-year insight programme is diversity-restricted, and BDO cannot sponsor a visa for any of its early careers programmes.
