  1. Complete an application form

  2. Assessment process (online assessments)

    Online tests

    Online assessments starting with a Realistic Job Preview (teamwork and learning capability) and a behavioural skills test. Practice hub inside the assessment portal.

  3. Online assessments: recorded video response

    Recorded video interview

    The FAQ lists recording a video response among possible online assessment formats. It is part of the timed online assessment, not a separate stage; question count and timings are not published.

  4. Shortlisting

    Other stage

    Whole-application review after the assessments; highest performers are invited onward. Any motivational statement or degree requirement is checked here.

  5. EY Experience Day

    Assessment centre

    Final stage held in person at a UK office (virtual alternative only in exceptional cases). Experience Days begin from mid-October 2026.

Visa sponsorship

  • Graduate Programme

    EY sponsors Assurance, Consulting and Tax graduate roles everywhere except Belfast, but some sub-programmes inside Consulting are excluded regardless of city

    “sponsorship covers any graduate programme in Assurance, Consulting and Tax (other than Belfast). We can't process international applications for programmes other than those listed because of the salary benchmark set by the UK government.”

  • Level 7 Accountancy and Taxation Apprenticeship

    EY says it cannot sponsor a work visa for its apprenticeships, only for a defined list of graduate roles.

    “Unfortunately, we're unable to provide visa sponsorship if you require a work visa for our apprenticeship programmes.”

  • Industrial Placements

    EY UK dropped its degree classification bar for placements but has not said anything on sponsorship.

  • Discover EY

    EY UK will not sponsor a work visa for Discover EY, and 2027 dates are not yet live.

    “Unfortunately, we're unable to sponsor work visas for internships and fixed-term placements.”
