Training Contract
How Forsters recruits

Visa sponsorship

Forsters sponsors visas for training contracts, though not for the vacation scheme most trainees come through, with a fully dated 2027 cycle.
“We can offer visa sponsorship for training contracts, but not for vacation schemes. Due to government requirements, we can only consider visa sponsorship for training contracts.”
Solicitor Apprenticeship
Forsters' six year solicitor apprenticeship for school leavers starts September 2027, and applications close 1 February 2027.
Vacation Scheme
Forsters will not sponsor a visa for its one week vacation schemes, though international students already able to work during the scheme dates can still take part.
“International students can apply for a vacation scheme if their visa permits work during the scheme dates. We do not sponsor visas for vacation schemes.”
First year insight day
Forsters runs a one-day, in-person first year insight day on 4 May 2027 for students not yet eligible for its vacation schemes.
