Interview

“Your interview will focus on the Met Office values, what they mean to you and whether you can work in line with them. We'll also discuss the scheme in more detail, including our expectations.”
Offer
Offer
Graduate recruitment team calls to offer, then sends an offer letter and starter guide.

Onboarding and security clearance
Other stage
Security clearance and reference checks before a start date, usually eight to ten weeks (standard process page).

Visa sponsorship

“We require Security clearance without caveats and/or restrictions for this role, for which you need to have resided in the UK for at least 3 of the last 5 years to be eligible, 2 of these years must be immediately preceding the point of your application.”
