Undergraduate Summer Placement
SSE's early careers FAQ says it cannot sponsor a visa for students who need one.
“If you already have your visa in place and therefore have the right to work in UK you are welcome to apply. However, we are unable to sponsor applicants whom require a visa to work in UK.”
Year in Industry Internship
SSE's 12 month year in industry internships for September 2027 pay £26,239 and close on 1 November 2026.
“SSE welcomes applications from all nationalities. Successful candidates must have the right to work in the UK before commencing employment.”
